Suspect Apprehended in Irving Street Burglary and Auto Theft Case

WASHINGTON, DC – Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection to a burglary and auto theft that took place in the 1400 block of Irving Street, Northwest.

At around 5:05 a.m., Marco Deputy, of no fixed address, reportedly entered an occupied home and took property from the residence. Upon encountering the victim, Deputy fled the scene using the victim’s vehicle. Law enforcement officers tracked the stolen property and subsequently arrested Deputy. The stolen vehicle was also recovered.

Marco Deputy has been charged with Burglary One and Theft One (Stolen Auto).
