17-Year-Old Victim Identified in Fatal Northeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A tragic shooting on Monday afternoon in the 2300 block of Washington Place, Northeast D.C., has left 17-year-old Antonio Cunningham dead and another man critically wounded.

Washington, D.C. Metro Police arrived at the scene at around 4:34 p.m. following reports of gunshots. Officers found Cunningham and an adult male with gunshot wounds.

Cunningham later died despite all life-saving efforts, and the adult male is currently in a critical but stable state in a local hospital.
