ACCOKEEK, MD – The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last Monday night. The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Adam Emmanuel Douglas of Clinton.
Officers responded to the 14700 block of Livingston Road at approximately 11:00 pm. The initial investigation indicates that a vehicle was traveling northbound on Livingston Road when it struck Douglas.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after. The driver did not remain at the scene.
Investigators are currently working to identify the make and model of the vehicle involved in the incident. The circumstances leading to the collision are still under investigation.
