Montgomery County Police Arrest 19-Year-Old for Auto Theft

ROCKVILLE, MD – Bill Gomez, a 19-year-old resident of Rockville, has been arrested by detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division.

The arrest is related to a series of auto thefts involving Infiniti G37 models.

Detectives had been investigating the rise in thefts of this specific car model and identified Gomez as a suspect.

A search warrant executed at his residence on Westmore Avenue revealed a pseudo “chop-shop” and evidence linking him to the thefts.

Gomez was arrested on Wednesday, September 6, and faces multiple auto theft-related charges. He was released on a $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
