Traffic Light Outage Causes Delays at 520 and Holmdel Road Intersection

HOLMDEL, NJ – A power outage in Holmdel has knocked out the traffic light at the intersection of 520 and Holmdel Road, affecting approximately 500 residents. Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) has been notified of the issue.

The Holmdel Township Police Department warned drivers via social media to expect delays and to exercise caution when navigating the intersection. The outage has resulted in slower traffic patterns, and local authorities are urging residents to drive safely.

JCP&L is currently working to restore power and fix the traffic light as quickly as possible. In the meantime, drivers are advised to treat the intersection as a four-way stop and to follow the right-of-way rules to ensure safety.
