Police Continue Investigating Lansdale Murder-Suicide Attempt

LANSDALE, PA – The Lansdale Borough Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on the 800 block of Concord Place at 12:12 pm on Tuesday.

A male caller informed county dispatch that he had shot a woman and intended to shoot himself. Officers arrived and encountered the man, who then shot himself.

Both individuals were transported from the scene via ambulance. One was airlifted to a trauma center in Philadelphia, while the other received treatment at a local hospital. Both were alive at the time of transport.

The Lansdale Borough Police Department and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau are jointly investigating the incident.

Police Chief Mike Trail stated that there is no threat to the public and the firearm involved has been accounted for.
