Arrest Made in Dauphin Middle School Online Threat Incident

LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, PA – On Wednesday evening, multiple anonymous social media threats were made against Central Dauphin East Middle School, Susquehanna Township Middle School, Swatara Township Middle School, and Central Dauphin East High School.

The threats were received via the SAFE 2 SAY platform.

The Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police, along with Susquehanna Township Police and Swatara Township Police, conducted an investigation.

The individual responsible for the threats was identified and arrested. Police did not release the suspect’s name.

The threats were determined to be not credible, and there is no ongoing threat to the schools or the general public.
