Police Seek Phone Store Smash and Grab Suspect

DERWOOD, MD – Montgomery County Department of Police is investigating a burglary that occurred on Saturday, at a Verizon store.

Surveillance video shows the suspect breaking a window to enter the store, where he then stole items before leaving.

The suspect is described as a Black male with medium-length black hair and a black beard. He was wearing a tan long-sleeve hooded t-shirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers with gray and black designs.

Anyone with information is asked to visit the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website or call 1-866-411-8477.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Tips may remain anonymous.
