Shooting In Baltimore Leaves Man Critically Injured

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A young man was seriously injured Wednesday night in a shooting that happened in Northwest Baltimore.

Shortly after 11 p.m., patrol officers were summoned to the 900 block of North Bentalou Street in response to a reported shooting. Upon their arrival in the area, officers discovered a 22-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the 2300 block of Lafayette Avenue.

The victim’s condition prompted immediate transport to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. As of now, the specific location of the shooting remains unconfirmed.

An ongoing investigation into this incident involves district detectives from both the Western and Northwest District. Authorities are urging anyone with pertinent information to step forward and assist in the investigation.
