Man Who Never Showed Up for Work Found Dead

CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP, PA –- Bryan John Bialas, a 45-year-old man from the Saltsburg area, was found deceased on Friday. Bialas had been reported missing on Tuesday after he failed to report to work.

His vehicle was discovered in Young Township, Indiana County, by a resident who had been searching for him.

The resident immediately contacted Troop A, Indiana, and a search and rescue operation was initiated. During the search, Bialas was found deceased in a remote, wooded area. Foul play is not suspected in his death.

The cause and manner of Bialas’ death will be determined by Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman, Jr.

Agencies that assisted in the search and rescue operation include the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Indiana County Emergency Management Agency/911, the Coal Run-McIntyre VFD, and the Indiana County Coroner’s Office.
