Q-Train Groper Sought by NYPD

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in a forcible touching incident on Friday, September 1.

At around 9:05 am, an unknown male sat next to a 42-year-old female on a moving “Q” train. As the train approached Canal Street and Broadway, the individual touched the victim’s thigh and lower abdomen inappropriately before exiting the train.

The victim did not suffer any injuries. The suspect is described as a slim male with a dark complexion, approximately 40 years old and 5’7″ in height.

He was last seen wearing a blue New York Yankee baseball hat, a green, black, and white striped polo-style t-shirt, blue jeans, and a black Nike backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York City Police Department.
