Seaford Drug Dealer Busted with Crack, Guns and Cash

SEAFORD, DE – Avery Cannon, a 46-year-old resident of Seaford, was arrested by the Delaware State Police for multiple drug and gun charges. The arrest took place on Wednesday morning following a search warrant executed at his residence on the 400 block of North Street in Seaford.

The search warrant was the culmination of a several-month-long drug investigation targeting Cannon, who was suspected of large-scale narcotics distribution. Cannon was the only individual present during the search and was taken into custody without incident.

The search yielded approximately 1,167.8 grams of cocaine, 57.57 grams of crack cocaine, 14.26 grams of marijuana, five handguns, several hundred rounds of ammunition, and approximately $14,974 in suspected drug dealing proceeds. Various drug paraphernalia, including digital scales and distribution materials, were also found.

Cannon now faces multiple charges related to drug possession, drug distribution, and firearms. He is currently in custody and awaits further legal proceedings.
