ELSMERE, DE – Early Saturday morning, emergency response teams from Elsmere Fire Company, New Castle County Paramedics, and Elsmere Police responded to a 911 call in the 900 block of South Grant Avenue.
The initial report indicated an unknown medical problem, but it was later confirmed to be a fatal shooting.
Upon arrival, responders found a deceased individual on the sidewalk.
The identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident have not been disclosed.
