Man Struck by Tractor Trailer in Critical Condition

SOUTH FAYETTE, PA – An adult male is in critical condition after being struck by a truck tractor while loading a flatbed trailer on Stonegate Drive, prompting an investigation by the Allegheny County Police Department’s Mobile Carrier Safety Assistance Program Unit.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 pm when County 911 was alerted to an accident. First responders arrived to find the male victim critically injured after the truck tractor moved backwards into him during the loading process.

The victim has been transported to a local hospital for urgent treatment.

An investigation into the incident has been initiated. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the event to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can choose to remain anonymous.
