Toms River Approves New Spray Park for Kids at Skyview Park

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Township officials have greenlit the design of a new spray park at Skyview Park to provide children a place to cool down during the summer months.

The decision came earlier this week when the council voted to enter into a contract with CME Associates. The engineering firm will assist the township’s internal engineering department in planning the future amenity. The contract allocates $70,000 for CME’s services in designing the spray park.

Skyview Park, where the spray park is planned to be built, is located at 811 Vaughn Avenue in the East Dover section of Toms River. While the exact details of the spray park’s layout are not yet determined, CME will work closely with township engineers to finalize the design.

The council’s resolution emphasizes the partnership with CME Associates and outlines the financial commitment for the design phase. Further updates on the spray park’s development will be shared as the project progresses.
