Last Ticket in Book Wins Massillon Resident $1-Million Jackpot

MASSILLON, OH – Chandra Potschner of Wilmot struck gold with the last ticket on a book of Billion scratch-offs, winning the $1-million annuity second-tier prize.

The second-tier prize is paid as $50,000 a year for 20 years before taxes. Instead, Chandra opted for the $500,000 cash option prize, resulting in approximately $360,000 after federal and state tax withholdings. She purchased her winning ticket at Speedway #9314, located at 4230 Erie Avenue in Massillon and plans to invest her winnings.

As of today, 83 second-tier prizes remain in the Billion scratch-off game, along with other prizes. Chandra beat odds of 1 in 235,636 to win.
