Ohio Fugitive Murder Suspect Arrested

COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities have apprehended Jaylon Wilson, an 18-year-old suspect wanted for an August 2023 homicide in far east Columbus. Wilson is currently awaiting extradition back to Ohio, where he is charged with the murder of 19-year-old Jaijuan Jenkins.

On August 15, 2023, Columbus Police officers responded to an unknown complaint at the 4600 block of Refugee Rd. Upon arrival, they discovered Jenkins in a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
