Scooter Bandits Swipe $60,000 From Victim Outside Queens Check Cashing Business

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a robbery in the 108 Precinct. The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 3:00 p.m. in front of 48-16 Skillman Avenue.

According to police reports, an unidentified individual approached a 47-year-old male victim and fired a gun at the ground. The suspect then took $60,000 from the victim before fleeing northbound on 49th Street on a black two-wheeled vehicle with another unidentified individual. No injuries were reported in the incident.
