Smoke Shop Employee Beaten Over $160 in Merch

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying two individuals linked to a robbery that took place in the confines of the 43 Precinct.

The incident was reported to have occurred on Friday, August 18, at approximately 11:42 p.m. The suspects entered Exotic Smoke Shop, situated near Soundview Avenue and Beach Avenue. They assaulted a 24-year-old male victim, punching him in the face before forcibly removing an undetermined amount of money and taking $160 worth of merchandise. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. The perpetrators left the scene and their whereabouts are currently unknown.
