Three Arrested After Man Assaulted With Tire Iron in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man was injured during a Saturday morning business exchange, resulting in the arrest of three individuals by the D.C. Metro Police Department.

The incident unfolded around 7:51 a.m. in the 1900 block of 8th Street in Northwest, D.C., as the victim engaged with three individuals in a business transaction. Suddenly, a dispute escalated into a physical altercation, with the victim being assaulted. Responding promptly to the scene were officers from the Third District, who located the suspects.

The victim, although injured during the altercation, received immediate medical attention from DC Fire and EMS. Fortunately, the injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

Arrested on Saturday were 42-year-old Jana Jackson from Northwest, D.C., and 29-year-old James Dominic Littles from Southeast, D.C., both charged with Simple Assault. Additionally, 45-year-old Robert Christopher White Jr. faced charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Tire Iron).
