Suspect Arrested for Machete Attack in Sellersville

SELLERSVILLE, PA – Isaiah Velazquez was arrested by Perkasie Borough Police on the morning of September 9, following a domestic disturbance in Sellersville Borough.

Velazquez is charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Possession of Instruments of Crime.

The victim reported that Velazquez confronted him with a machete and a knife, resulting in cuts and stab wounds.

 Perkasie Borough Police Officers, assisted by Pennridge Regional Police, arrested Velazquez without incident at his residence on Ridge Avenue.

He was arraigned by District Justice Kronnagel and is being held at Bucks County Prison in lieu of $1,000,000 bail. The victim was transported to Grandview Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
