Police Investigating After 14-Year-Old Robbed at Gunpoint by Mob

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A 14-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint on September 19, leading Anne Arundel County Police to investigate the incident involving a group of 10 people.

At approximately 9:20 a.m., the victim and his friend were walking near Glenmont Avenue and Burke Avenue when they were approached by a group of 10 Hispanic males and females. One male from the group brandished a handgun and took the victim’s cell phone. The two teens then ran from the group. The victim was later picked up by his grandmother and taken home, where the robbery was reported.

Officers responded to the victim’s residence in Brooklyn at around 11:40 a.m. Northern District detectives are now actively investigating the case and are urging anyone with information to call 410-222-6135 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
