NYPD Investigating After Man Robbed of $10k in Jewelry, iPhone

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The NYPD is seeking public assistance in identifying two males connected to a robbery near West 15th Street and Mermaid Avenue on September 15.

The incident occurred at 9:10 a.m. when a 44-year-old male was approached from behind by two unknown males who struck him with a firearm. A physical altercation followed, during which the suspects forcibly took the victim’s Rolex watch, valued at approximately $5,550, a necklace valued at approximately $6,000, and an iPhone. The suspects then fled northbound on West 15 Street in a black BMW with New Jersey license plates. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.

The suspects are described as males with a dark complexion. The first was last seen wearing a black Adidas sweat suit, and the second was last seen wearing a neon shirt, brown vest, green hat, surgical mask, and jeans.
