Atlantic City Police Arrest Two in Anti-Crime Patrols

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department’s Special Investigations Section reported two arrests from separate investigations on Thursday and Friday.

The first arrest, on September 21, was of Knocumus Dixon, 33, of Atlantic City, following a search warrant execution at his residence on south Iowa Avenue.

Detectives discovered over seven ounces of cocaine and related paraphernalia.

The next day, Detectives Nicholas Berardis and Christopher Smith observed Daquann Smith, 23, of Galloway, NJ, in a suspicious interaction.

A subsequent vehicle stop led to the discovery of a loaded handgun, reported stolen from Gainesville, FL. Both Dixon and Smith are now in custody at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
