FREEHOLD, NJ – Local restaurants and farmers unite for Grown in Monmouth Restaurant Week, taking place now through Friday, September 29.

“The initiative is a call to support small businesses and the area’s agriculture,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Division of Economic Development. Restaurants partaking in this week must include at least one dish made from ingredients sourced within Monmouth County. There are no stipulations on menu selection or pricing.

All restaurants involved are listed on the Grown in Monmouth online directory, along with farmers’ markets, community-supported agriculture, gardens, and produce distributors. Promotional items and social media also feature the participating establishments.
