Mob Robs Two Victims In East Village

NEW YORK, NY – A 22-year-old female and a 23-year-old male were robbed by a group of twelve individuals at 3:47 a.m. on Sunday near East 12th Street and Avenue C.

The victims were approached by a group composed of eight males and four females. One individual displayed an unknown weapon and forcibly took the victims’ cellphones, purse, wallet, and debit cards. The group then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. The female victim sustained minor injuries but both victims declined medical attention at the scene.
