NYPD Requests Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Manhattan Shooting

NEW YORK, NY – Two unidentified males discharged firearms at a 41-year-old man near Amsterdam Avenue and West 89 Street, striking him in the buttocks and shoulder.

The incident occurred on Tuesday at around 1:28 a.m. The assailants fled westbound on West 89th Street on foot after the attack. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside by EMS and is in stable condition.

The first individual is approximately 6’2″ tall with a dark complexion, slim build, and blond short braids. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, light-colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

The second individual, not depicted, is described as approximately 6′ tall, with a dark complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, green hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and white sneakers.
