Fugitive Shoots and Kills Himself as Police Approached Near Bowling Green Gas Station

BOWLING GREEN, OH – A shooting was reported at a gas station in Bowling Green on Saturday morning.

Officers from the Bowling Green Police Department (BGPD) were alerted about an individual with an outstanding felony warrant for incest with a minor through license plate detection technology.

BGPD officers approached the Speedway on E. Wooster Street around 11 a.m.

As an officer neared the vehicle, the individual discharged a firearm, inflicting serious self-injury.

The person was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The entire incident is currently under investigation by BGPD.
