Two Dead, One Injured in Separate Philadelphia Shootings

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia Police Department is currently investigating two distinct shootings that resulted in the death of two men and left another injured.

The initial incident took place last Friday at 11:29 p.m. inside a takeout restaurant on the 4100 block of Germantown Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot injuries. A 41-year-old man, who had been shot in the head, back, and chest, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 11:38 p.m.

The second victim, a 30-year-old man, sustained gunshot wounds to his back and leg. He was taken to the hospital and is now in a critical but stable condition. Bullet casings were discovered both inside and outside the restaurant.

Subsequently, early on Saturday at 12:59 a.m., officers responded to a shooting on the 5200 block of Chester Avenue. A 25-year-old man, having multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle and was declared dead at 1:29 a.m.
