Strong-Arm Robbery at Hanover Red Roof Inn Under Investigation

HANOVER, MD – Officers are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on September 26 at the Red Roof Inn on 7306 Parkway Drive South. A 51-year-old female was robbed in her room by three male suspects who gained entry under the pretense of a food delivery.

The incident happened at approximately 6:50 p.m., when the suspects entered the victim’s room. One of the males strangled the victim and displayed a knife, demanding her banking information. After transferring a large amount of U.S. currency from her bank accounts, the suspects locked the victim in the bathroom and fled. The victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as follows:

  1. Hispanic male, wearing black pants and a black long-sleeve shirt.
  2. Hispanic male, wearing black pants and a black long-sleeve shirt.
  3. Asian male, wearing black pants and a black long-sleeve shirt.
