Woman Arrested and Charged in Southwest Baltimore Homicide

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department has taken 24-year-old Cedaria Luckey from Randallstown into custody in connection with a homicide that occurred on August 16th in Southwest Baltimore. Investigators traced back the deadly act to Luckey, who reportedly shot and killed 24-year-old Nykiah Collins at the 1000 block of West Baltimore Street

Luckey’s arrest was effectuated on Saturday, after which she was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she is now facing charges of 1st-degree murder.

The incident unfolded on August 16th at approximately 11:02 p.m., when patrol officers were called to the 1000 block of West Baltimore Street upon receiving a shooting report. Arriving at the scene, officers found an adult female who was unresponsive with a gunshot wound. The responding medical team declared the victim, Nykiah Collins, dead at the scene.
