Woman Attacked and Robbed on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public help to identify an individual involved in a robbery on a northbound “B” train near the 145 Street subway station.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 20, at around 9:45 p.m. An unidentified individual attacked a 24-year-old female victim, pulling her hair, punching her in the face, and knocking her to the ground. The assailant then took the victim’s cellphone and left the station.

The victim sustained facial bruising and hand lacerations. She was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem and is in stable condition.

The NYPD has released a photo of the individual in question and is asking anyone with information to come forward as part of the ongoing investigation in the 30 Precinct, Transit District 3.
