Fugitive Arrested At King of Prussia Mall

UPPER MERION, PA – On Friday, September 22, at approximately 4:20 PM, members of the Upper Merion Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) were alerted to a wanted individual’s presence near the Yellow Parking lot of the King of Prussia Mall, located at 160 N. Gulph Road.

The individual was sought for a violation of a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order, with the warrant issued by the Plymouth Township (PA) Police Department.

Upon arriving at the location, detectives found the suspect’s Toyota sedan parked near the Mall Transit Center and Rite Aid.

Surveillance was initiated, and shortly after, the male suspect was detained as he approached his vehicle. The Plymouth Township Police confirmed the warrant, leading to his arrest.

In addition to the warrant, detectives discovered methamphetamine and a pipe used for smoking crack cocaine in the suspect’s possession. He was charged with Drug Possession and was subsequently transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility Department for further court proceedings.
