Resident Zip-Tied and Robbed in His Bronx Apartment Building

BRONX, NY – Police reported that a 32-year-old male was accosted in his apartment building near East 149 Street and Cauldwell Avenue early Monday morning, September 25, 2023, at approximately 3:20 a.m.

Two unidentified males approached the victim from behind as he was exiting the elevator, brandishing a firearm. They demanded the victim re-enter the elevator and zip-tied his hands.

The assailants demanded the victim’s apartment keys and entered his residence. They removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a bedroom before fleeing on foot. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
