Two-Alarm Fire in Elkton Under Investigation by State Fire Marshals

ELKTON, MD – A two-alarm fire in Elkton engaged multiple agencies, including the Maryland State Fire Marshal, Singerly Fire Company, and units from Delaware and Pennsylvania.

The fire occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m., prompting an immediate response from Singerly Fire Company and nearby departments. The situation was rapidly upgraded to a two-alarm fire. Deputy State Fire Marshals have arrived on the scene and are conducting an active investigation into the incident.

As of the latest update, no injuries have been reported. Sixty firefighters from Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania have been dispatched and are currently on the scene as part of a mutual aid effort.

The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal will continue to update the public as more information becomes available.
