Biden to remain in Washington this weekend as shutdown looms

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden will remain in Washington over the weekend and the White House will remain in contact with congressional leaders as a government shutdown looms, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Friday.
