Local Plumber Wins $31,000 Trifecta

TAKOMA PARK, MD – Rafael Reynoso, a local 66-year-old plumber, recently won $31,796.50 from a Racetrax Superfecta Wheel bet.

Reynoso, a resident of Montgomery County, has played the Lottery for over 15 years. Racetrax is among his favorite games to play. He made the winning bet at Ertters Market, located at 521 Dale Drive in Silver Spring.

“I used my extra change from lunch to make the bet,” Reynoso stated. “I was amazed when I won; it was the second time I got the numbers right, but the first time I won the Superfecta.”

For his Superfecta Wheel bet, the Lottery terminal at Ertters Market chose horses 6 and 7 for the No. 1 position, followed by 9, 11, and 4 for the next three spots. Reynoso wagered on this combination for 10 consecutive races and secured his win during the ninth race.

When questioned about his future plans, Reynoso said he aims to assist his family financially and save for unforeseen circumstances.

Ertters Market, the retailer where the winning ticket was sold, will receive a $317.96 bonus, which amounts to 1% of Reynoso’s prize.
