GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – On September 19, Gloucester Township Police, with support from Winslow Township PD, Clayton Borough PD, and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury’s Criminal Investigation Unit, executed search warrants at two “smoke shop” retail locations.

The move followed a month-long inquiry into the illegal sale of Controlled Dangerous Substances.

Officers confiscated considerable amounts of raw marijuana, marijuana edibles, vape cartridges, nitrous oxide canisters, and numerous untaxed tobacco products.

Abdo Saeed, the owner of both establishments, faces multiple charges including Leadership of a Narcotics Trafficking Network and Money Laundering. Two employees, Ebrahim Alzabidi and Munzer Azafari, were also charged in the raid.

Those aware of individuals battling addiction are asked to contact the Gloucester Township SAVE Advocate at 856-302-7051 for assistance.
