One Person Hospitalized in Youngstown Shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, OH — A late-night shooting incident on Youngstown’s South Side left one person injured.

The event occurred just past midnight on Thursday on Miller Avenue, near South Avenue’s intersection.

Youngstown Police stated that a car was targeted in the shooting.

One of the car’s occupants was hit in the back and had to be taken to the hospital. Currently, the individual is stable.

The case remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made. Individuals with any relevant information are asked to contact the YPD or Crime Stoppers.
