Police Find Kidnapper Shot Dead in North Carolina, Victims Freed

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A kidnapping and home invasion led to the fatal shooting of Kristian Tillman-Little, 27, on Thursday around 2:30 a.m. on Westdale Drive.

Responding to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 200 block of Westdale Drive, officers found Tillman-Little dead from a gunshot wound.

The surrounding area was secured, with multiple witnesses identified. As the investigation proceeded, it was revealed that the shooting was a result of a kidnapping that started in another jurisdiction. The kidnapping victims managed to flee after the shooting, alerting neighbors to call the police.

During their escape, the perpetrator or perpetrators fled before police arrived on the scene. The incident not only involved a kidnapping but also a home invasion, robbery, and the subsequent fatal shooting.

The case involves two jurisdictions, numerous witnesses, and a significant amount of evidence.
