WHITE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are actively searching for Storm Michael Armagost, a 27-year-old from Punxsutawney, following a shooting at an apartment in Indiana County.

On Thursday evening, around 10:00 p.m., the Troop A, Indiana Patrol Unit received a report of a shooting at 878 South 3rd Street in White Township.

Upon their arrival, officers found a bullet hole inside Apartment 24 and interviewed a second male present during the incident, who identified Armagost as the shooter. It is alleged that during a disturbance related to drug activity, Armagost fired a shot in the victim’s direction following a heated argument.

The victim, a 39-year-old male from Indiana, PA, reported that he narrowly escaped harm when the bullet missed him. He then exited the building and went to a neighboring house after being threatened further and pushed down the stairs by Armagost. The Troop A Forensic Services Unit was on the scene, and it was determined that the bullet lodged itself in the bedroom wall of the apartment.

Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi, Jr. consulted on the case, and the Indiana Borough Police Department assisted with the investigation. PSP is urging anyone with information about Armagost’s whereabouts to contact 911.
