35-Year-Old Woman Fatally Shot in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA – Early Friday morning, Allentown police officers responded to a shooting report on the 600 block of North Law Street.

At around 2 am, upon arrival, they discovered a 35-year-old woman with gunshot injuries. She was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest but succumbed to her injuries by 4:50 am.

The Lehigh County Coroner, Daniel Buglio, declared her death a homicide and has scheduled an autopsy for Monday.

The victim’s identification is being withheld to allow the family to grieve privately. This marks the second homicide in Allentown within a week and the sixteenth this year.
