Shooting at PNC Music Pavilion Leaves Woman Injured, Vehicles Damaged

CHARLOTTE, NC – A shooting occurred near the PNC Music Pavilion, leading to a woman being critically injured inside her vehicle.

The event happened at 12:04 a.m. on Sunday, within the parking lot at 707 Pavilion Boulevard. Fuerza Regida had held a performance at the PNC Music Pavilion earlier.

Along with the injured woman, several vehicles in the vicinity were shot into. The vehicles, which include a Chevrolet Camero, a LandRover LR4, a Chevrolet TRAX, and a Toyota 4Runner, incurred damages ranging from $400 to $1,000. Currently, the woman’s health status is not disclosed.

Charges related to this incident comprise assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury, discharging a firearm into an occupied property, and damage to property.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Charlotte Police Department requests anyone with information to come forward.
