Three Arrested in Virginia Beach Residential Burglary

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – A police response led to the arrest of three local residents in connection to a residential burglary at the 5200 block of Johnstown Lane.

Officers from the Virginia Beach Police Department arrived on the scene at 4:30 P.M on September 23 after receiving a burglary in progress alert. Upon arrival, officers engaged in a foot chase with three suspects, resulting in the capture of all individuals involved. A firearm related to the burglary was also recovered by the authorities.

The suspects, Isaiah Palmer, 24, Giovani Calixte, 21, and Alii Gurney-Proctor, 19, were charged with multiple offenses including Burglary, Grand Larceny, Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Conspiracy, and Obstruction. Calixte faces additional charges for Carrying a Concealed Weapon without a Permit and Wearing a Mask in Certain Places.
