Two Sought in Armed Robbery Caught on Camera

SHARPSBURG, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department is calling for public assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store located on the 500 block of N Main Street. The incident occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. on September 30.

A male suspect entered the store, brandished a weapon, and demanded money from both the store clerk and a customer present at the time. The man concealed his identity with a mask and what appeared to be a wig. Investigators have established that the suspect left the scene in the company of a female and headed south on Route 28 toward Pittsburgh.

Surveillance images of the male and female suspects, as well as their vehicle, have been released. Efforts are ongoing to ascertain the make and model of the vehicle involved.
