Woman Arrested for Deadly Knife Attack

COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police have arrested Shunta Hodges, a 34-year-old woman, in connection with the fatal stabbing of 39-year-old Joseph Higgins in North Linden. Hodges surrendered to authorities following the issuance of a murder warrant.

On September 25, police were called to a residence in the 1200 block of Manchester Ave regarding a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found Higgins suffering from stab wounds.

He was rushed to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
