Korean BBQ Franchise Planning Multiple Jersey Shore Locations

MANASQUAN, NJ – Dae Gee Korean BBQ, a Denver-originated Korean barbeque establishment, has inked a franchise deal to set up four restaurants at the Jersey Shore.

The pact has been sealed with local entrepreneurs Brian and Carrie Devereux, the individuals behind the successful Max Devros restaurant in Manasquan. Locations in Monmouth and Ocean counties are currently under consideration, though leases remain unsigned.

Brian Devereux conveyed his enthusiasm for the untapped potential in New Jersey for Dae Gee, and the chance to collaborate with the brand at this pivotal juncture. Recognized as one of Colorado’s rapidly expanding Korean BBQ networks, the brand’s promise resonates with the Devereux couple who are eager to introduce its distinctive culinary offerings and immersive dining modality to the Jersey Shore.

Tracing its inception to 2012, Dae Gee garnered significant attention in 2015 following its feature on Guy Fieri’s acclaimed food television show, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

Dae Gee, translating to “pig” in Korean, provides a hands-on dining format where patrons cook their chosen meats directly at their tables. The menu offers a diverse range of Korean delicacies, and diners can customize their meals with a plethora of sides and condiments.

Carrie Devereux remarked on the unique experience Dae Gee brings, emphasizing its potential to captivate patrons.

Joseph Kim, the brain behind Dae Gee, expressed his excitement about the Devereux couple’s involvement and the forthcoming venture in New Jersey.
