18-Year-Old Arrested for Monday Murder of Brooklyn Man


BROOKLYN, NY – Brian Dowling, an 18-year-old from 1070 Lafayette Avenue, was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon on Thursday.

The arrest follows a tragic incident on Monday where police responded to a 911 call reporting a male stabbed at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard. Officers found Ryan Carson, 32, of Marcy Avenue, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest.

Carson was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County but later succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
