Two Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in Colver

COLVER, PA – Cambria County officials responded to a reported murder-suicide around 2 p.m. Tuesday in Colver.

The victims, a man in his late 50s and a woman in her late 40s, each had a gunshot wound to the head. The identities of the deceased are currently withheld, awaiting family notification.

The bodies were discovered on a Fifth Street home’s front porch by an uninvolved third party.

Cambria County District Attorney Gregory Neugebauer stated that a firearm was found at the scene and that there is no further threat to the public.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the coroner’s office, district attorney’s office, Ebensburg Borough police, and Cambria Township police.
