Columbia Man Faces Strangulation and Assault Charges

COLUMBIA, PA – On Monday, Nathan L. Berkenstock, 37, of Columbia, encountered legal repercussions as an Officer with the Columbia Borough Police Department filed charges against him, following an incident occurring in the 500 block of Manor Street.

The incident, which took place at approximately 7:37 p.m., implicated Berkenstock in acts of strangulation and simple assault.

He is presently considered innocent and will remain so until proven guilty in a court of law.
